The result of the 16th WIPO-SIPO Award, which is for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention and Industrial Design, was released recently. Recommended by Jilin Provincial Science & Technology Department, FAW's Besturn X80 was awarded gold medal of "Chinese Industrial Design". FAW R&D Center's "Double-lip Combustion Chamber for Heavy Diesel Engine" was honored Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention.

Chinese Patented Invention Prize is the exclusive government patent award bestowed by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), to encourage technology innovation and to boost intellectual property protection.
