FAW Car Co. Ltd. (FAW Car), a wholly owned subsidiary of FAW Group, announced on Feb 28 that Hongqi H7 limousines were designated as official cars to serve the National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which will be held in Beijing from Mar 3 thru 15.

As China’s first self-developed premium car, Hongqi H7 were launched in Beijing on May 30, 2013. The 1.8T model was down production line on Jan 30, 2015, and scheduled to put into market soon.

Since launched in 2013, Hongqi H7 has been gradually acknowledged by customers, and chosen as official cars served for many high-profile events, including Euro-Asia Economic Forum, APEC Women Leadership Forum, APEC Trade Ministers Meeting and APEC Ocean-related Ministerial Meeting and some sports events.
