FAW Group Corporation (FAW) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) on Mar 31.

According to the agreement, FAW R&D Center and FAW Bus and Coach Co., Ltd. will carry out closer cooperation with CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd.in electric drive technology and new energy coach; FAW’s own brands of passenger car and commercial truck will cooperate with CRRC’s subsidiary-BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group in plastic parts applications; FAW-Volkswagen will fully support BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group in the procurement of new platform.

The CRRC, which inherited all the business and assets of China CNR Corporation Limited and CSR Corporation Limited, is the world's largest supplier of rail transit equipment with the most complete product lines and leading technologies.
