With the theme of “persistence brings changes”, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) 2015 Annual Donors Congress was held in Beijing on Mar 31. FAW Group Corporation was honored as 2015 poverty alleviation ambassador award at the conference, with its outstanding contributions in financial support for students from poor families.

FAW donates 1 million Yuan RMB per year to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation’s “Care Package Project” since 2013. The project donates each student in target school a schoolbag containing learning stationery. 62 primary schools and 10,211 students have received FAW’s care packages in 2015. From 2013 to 2015, FAW’s Care Package Project has helped 19,491 students in rural areas, greatly improved their educational level and living standards.
