Hongqi, the premium auto brand of FAW Group, achieved a remarkable milestone in 2023 as its annual retail sales surged over 370,000 units, representing a 29.5% year-on-year jump.

Hongqi’s annual sales have continued to rise for six consecutive years.

Notably, the brand's new energy vehicle retail sales saw an outstanding surge, surpassing 85,000 units throughout the year and reflecting a robust year-on-year spike of 135%.

Specifically, two of Hongqi’s mainstay models, namely, the H5 and the HS5, both saw their annual sales exceed 100,000 units in 2023, which leapt 40% from the previous year.
