FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd., a passenger car joint venture between FAW Group Corporation and Volkswagen AG, announced on January 4 that its annual sales volume reached 1,910,205 units in 2023 (including imported Audi vehicles), representing a 4.8% year-on-year rise.

The Volkswagen brand’s sales reached 1,050,017 units last year, edging up 0.9% from a year ago, maintaining consecutive growth for two years. Meanwhile, annual sales of the Audi brand, including imported vehicles, grew by 9.8% from that of the previous year to 698,188 units. The Jetta brand saw its annual sales volume hit 162,000 units in 2023, marking a notable 10.3% year-on-year increase.

FAW is a leading global manufacturer of quality passenger cars, trucks, and buses. Established in 1953, the company is China’s oldest and largest automotive group. Annual sales exceed three million units.
