A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Jishishan county of Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture in Northwest China's Gansu province on Monday. The earthquake had caused over 100 deaths and some houses collapsed.

FAW actively fulfilled its social responsibilities, cared about the overall situation of people affected by the earthquake, learned about the loss caused by the disaster, and noted the progress of recovery. FAW had allocated funds and materials totaling about RMB 20 million (about $2,803,880) , together with its sub brands Hongqi, Jiefang, Bestune, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Toyota, to support the earthquake relief work and post-quake recovery.
