On October 24th, FAW Jiefang and Huawei signed an agreement on comprehensive deepening cooperation, and a special cooperation memorandum on AI, intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit at Huawei's Shenzhen Bantian base.

The move will push the cooperation between FAW Jiefang and Huawei to a new height. Both sides will integrate their respective advantageous resources, deepen strategic partnerships in technological innovation of AI Models, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, and other aspects, and lead the development of the industry.

In terms of AI models, FAW Jiefang has teamed up with Huawei to conduct verification and testing on multiple scenarios based on the Huawei Cloud Pangu models, fully demonstrating the enormous potential and value of the AI model technology in the automotive industry, and providing strong support for FAW Jiefang to improve work quality and efficiency.

In the future, FAW Jiefang will deepen cooperation with Huawei, build a smart brain based on Huawei's Cloud Pangu Model, and create a personal intelligent work assistant for employees, and provide users with a one-stop service from car selection to car exchange. It can also empower the entire business scenarios of R&D, production, supply, sales, and service. At the same time, relying on the Huawei Cloud Pangu Model, both parties will establish a big model of the commercial vehicle industry, work together to create industry artificial intelligence solutions, and actively innovate business and profit models.

In terms of intelligent driving, FAW Jiefang will establish multi-level and long-term cooperation with Huawei. Relying on FAW Jiefang's R&D strength and technical reserves, combined with Huawei's independently developed core components in the field of intelligent vehicles, as well as advanced vehicle end autonomous driving algorithms and leading vehicle cloud collaboration technology, both parties will establish an overall solution on intelligent driving, jointly create competitive intelligent driving products and promote their implementation.

In terms of intelligent cockpit, FAW Jiefang has completed the development of the intelligent cockpit model 1.0 and characteristic functions such as fuel saving coaches and intelligent diagnosis and repair. In the future, FAW Jiefang and Huawei will work together to develop intelligent cockpit platform, relying on FAW Jiefang's commercial vehicle user scenario definition capabilities and Huawei's intelligent cockpit solution.

Since 2015, the two sides have maintained close cooperation in areas such as public cloud, integrated communication, and IPD transformation; In May 2019, both parties officially established a strategic partnership; In 2021, the two sides reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation, expanding the scope of cooperation to areas including digital cloud base, AI platform, intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, talent cultivation, and process-oriented organizational construction.
