On July 28, the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee announced a decision on senior executive change of FAW Group Co., Ltd.. Qiu Xiandong, former vice president of FAW, was appointed Member of BOD, President, and Deputy Secretary of the CPC FAW Group Committee. 

FAW Group is a leading global manufacturer of quality passenger cars, trucks, and buses. Established in 1953, the company is China's oldest and largest automotive group. Annual sales exceed three million units.
