The Fourth World Intelligence Driving Challenge runs from Jun 20 to 24 in China's Tianjin Municipality. Over 140 self-driving vehicle teams from home and abroad participate in the challenge and two teams under FAW’s Bestune brand won the first and second places in the final.

Having been successfully held each year since 2017, the top-level hi-tech event provides a platform for famous brands in global intelligence, science and technology to promote academic exchanges, exhibitions, innovation and deepened cooperation.

In 2019, Bestune debuted at World Intelligence Driving Challenge and competed with 84 teams in intelligent driving. It was awarded “Innovative Connected Vehicle” for the outstanding performance in vehicle connectivity and self-driving.

The competition this year focuses on autonomous driving algorithms and intelligent components fusion, representing the higher requirements for the coordination ability. Bestune’s two teams get high scores for T99’s excellent performance in smart driving, automatic parking, software platform, vehicle and system test, and rank the first and second respectively.
