FAW Group Corporation (FAW) announced today that its sales volume in January grew 18.2% from a year earlier to 353,490 units.

The sales of Hongqi brand vehicles skyrocketed 142.7% year on year to 12,630 units. FAW Jiefang delivered 61,846 commercial trucks in Jan, a year-on-year growth of 56.7%. FAW Car saw its Jan sales rose 48.3% from a year ago to 16,966 units.

In addition, Jan. deliveries of two joint ventures aggregated 260,930 units. Of that, FAW-Volkswagen sold 184,631 vehicles in Jan, while FAW Toyota saw its monthly sales up to 76,299 units.
