Hongqi HS7, the first full-sized SUV model of Hongqi brand, made its debut at the 5th World Internet Conference on Wednesday. The new model is expected to be put into market in 2019.

The HS7 inherited Hongqi’s traditional “straight waterfall type” front grille design. Two distinctive optical lenses and a C-shaped LED daytime running lights in the polygon combination headlamp add a sense of luxury and cutting-edge technology of the model. The flag-shaped emblem, matches with the red trim in the center of the grille, convey a unique and dynamic visual effect.

The HS7 will be powered by a self-developed CA6GV30TD 3.0T direct injection engine rated at 248kW with peak torque of 445 N·m. The engine is mated to an Aisin 8-speed auto transmission.
