On June 18, Hongqi, the premium automotive brand under FAW Group, made its official debut at the 2026 International Automotive & Supply Chain Expo (2026 Hong Kong Auto Expo) held in Hong Kong from June 18 to 22. At the expo, the brand unveiled its inaugural right-hand-drive (RHD) product lineup and announced the launch of the RHD version of its E-HS9 all-electric flagship SUV in the Hong Kong market.

Mr. Chen Bin, Vice President of FAW and Executive Vice President of the Hongqi Brand Operation Committee, elaborated on FAW Group's globalization development strategy. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Hongqi has achieved breakthroughs in more than 1,500 core technologies, expanded its exports to 40 countries and regions, and garnered the trust of more than 2.3 million families, solidifying its leadership among premium brands in China.

Mr. Chen Bin shared insights centered on Hongqi's brand philosophy of "Building Quality Vehicles for Global Users." He stated that Hongqi remains committed to its mission as a national brand and will seize the development opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to deepen its presence in Hong Kong and contribute to the region's high-quality development. With Hong Kong's unique role as a gateway to international markets, Hongqi will further deepen collaboration with global partners, drive the overseas expansion of China's automotive industry, and support the development of Hong Kong.

In addition, the Hongqi Brand Experience Center in Hong Kong will officially open on July 1, offering local consumers high-quality products and services.

The three right-hand-drive models on display - the Hongqi Global SUV, the Hongqi EHS5 and the Hongqi E-HS9 - made their debut at the auto expo. Together, they integrate luxurious design, cutting-edge technologies, and all-around safety features, representing a synthesis of Hongqi's Eastern luxury heritage and its cutting-edge technological prowess.

Also featured at the exhibition was the Hongqi E-HS9 "Silk Road Journey" Southeast Asia commemorative model, heralding the official market launch of the right-hand-drive E-HS9 SUV in Hong Kong. Blending Eastern elegance with state-of-the-art technology, this model offers Hong Kong consumers a refined, reliable, and extraordinary premium travel experience.
