The 2025 Brussels Motor Show kicked off at the Brussels Exhibition and Convention Center on January 10. Hongqi, the premium passenger vehicle brand under FAW Group, showcased its EH7, an all-electric sedan, and EHS7, the brand’s first mid-to-large battery-electric SUV, at this year’s event.

The exhibition of the two models at the Brussels Motor Show marks an important step in Hongqi’s efforts to strengthen its presence in European market. Looking ahead, the Hongqi brand will keep on enhancing influence in the overseas market, seizing more market shares and speeding up its global expansion.

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Dingri County in the city of Rikaze in Xizang on Tuesday. A total of 126 people have been confirmed dead and 188 others injured after the earthquake, and thousands of rural houses have been toppled.

On January 8, FAW, together with its sub brands Hongqi, Jiefang, Bestune, FAW-Volkswagen, and FAW Toyota, donates money and vehicles worth RMB 11 million, for the emergency rescue and reconstruction in areas severely affected by the earthquake.

FAW will keep attention on the rescue situation, provide support and help for the areas severely affected by the earthquake, and tide over difficulties with local people.

FAW Hongqi launched its all-electric mid-to-large smart SUV-Hongqi Tiangong 08 on Jan 7, with a price range of 239,800 yuan to 339,800 yuan. Tiangong 08 will offer 5 versions of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

Based on Hongqi Tiangong electric platform and Hongqi Jiuzhang intelligent platform, Tiangong 08 equips with cold-resistant battery, up to 111kW/h, offering as much as 730km of range. The battery can retain as much as 93% charge even at -10 ℃. Tiangong 08 adopts multidimensional leading configurations, such as full-stack self-developed air suspension system, rear wheel steering technology, and brings highly individualized driving experience of dynamic, comfort, sport mode control and high speed acceleration, which will provide a luxury electric SUV with beyond expectation.
