Mazda Motor Corporation, FAW Group, and FAW subsidiary FAW Car Co. Ltd. (FCC) jointly announced in Beijing that the Chinese central government had granted approval to the establishment of a joint-venture national sales company to distribute Mazda-branded products in the Chinese market. This is critical part of Mazda's 5-year strategy to triple sales in Asia's fastest growing market. The new Changchun-based company, FAW Mazda Motor Sales Co., will establish the first network of Mazda dealers in China. FAW Car Co., Mazda, and FAW Group will hold 70%, 25%, and 5% stakes respectively.
In addition, the 2.0L Luxury model Mazda6 4-door sedan with power sliding glass sunroof was launched in Beijing. |
