Hongqi green and smart town project, as one of the programs to celebrating the 60th anniversary of the birth of Hongqi brand, was started on Aug. 1 in Changchun.

According to the plan, the Hongqi town, which consists of industrial tourism zone and innovation demonstration zone, is located at the FAW’s headquarters in Changchun, and jointly developed by FAW and Jilin province. Hongqi museum, tourism factory, cultural and creative streets, Hongqi park, and intelligent interconnection experience center will be built at the town. With its six core functions, including industrial and ecological center, intelligent manufacturing center, brand experience center, profit making center, talents training center, and institutional innovation center, the town will become a shining example in Jilin province.
