FAW-Volkswagen, a joint venture between FAW Group and Volkswagen AG, announced on Oct 10 that Sep end sales of the company rose 7.9 percent to 159,057 units. Among which Volkswagen-brand models were sold 107,750 units, while domestic and imported Audi-brand sales reached 51,307 units.
In the first three quarters, FAW-Volkswagen has already sold a total of 1,352,250 units, an increase of 15.7 percent over last year. Sales of Volkswagen-brand models rose 15.5 percent to 939,728 units, and Audi-brand models (including imported models) jumped 16 percent to 412,522 units.
