Through the evaluation of specialists a few days ago, the new CA4/6DLD diesel engine series of the FAW Jiefang Truck Wuxi Diesel Engine Division were given the second prize of China Machinery Industry Scientific and Technical 2014 Year Progress Award by China Machinery Industry Federation.

Wuxi Diesel Division adopts the international up-to-date process to develop CA4/6DLD that has a smart electric motor controlled EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system and fuel system. The two systems have effectively settled the problems for high pressure EGR valve used for the medium and heavy-duty diesel engines. Now the Division owns two national patents with intellectual property rights because of the development of CA4/6DLD diesel engine.
