FAW Group’s deliveries rose 20.6 percent year on year to 291,000 vehicles in September, a record high for the month. For the first nine months, FAW Group sales up 11.8 percent from a year earlier to 2,250,000 vehicles.
Last month, FAW-Volkswagen’s VW brand sales advanced 29.2 percent from a year earlier to 133,000 vehicles on demand for the Jetta, Sagitar, New Bora and Magotan sedans. Audi deliveries rose to 49,000 units, mainly generated by the All-new A4L and Q3.
FAW Toyota September sales accounted for 55,000 vehicles. Jan-Sep sales rose 14.5 percent year on year.
Sales of FAW Mazda jumped 54.3 percent to 10,000 vehicles in last month. Deliveries of CX-4 and ATENZA were 5,017 and 4,280 units respectively.
FAW's Jiefang brand maintained leading position in commercial truck market for the ninth month in a row. Wholesale deliveries reached 15,000 units in September, with a market share of 21.3 percent.
Deliveries of R7 SUV reached 7,000 units in September.
