Four J6 Trucks and Two Engines Exhibited at Comtrans Moscow 2017

Being a leading international exhibition of commercial vehicle in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the countries of Eastern Europe, Comtrans Moscow 2017 was held in IEC Crocus Expo from Sep 4 to 9, attracting more than 200 participating companies from 18 countries.

FAW Eastern Europe Corporation, the official general agency of FAW in Russia, exhibited 4 Jiefang J6 heavy trucks (6x4 and 8x4 dump trucks, 6x4 cement mixers, and 6x4 chassis) and 2 Wuxi Diesel engines (CA6DM2 diesel engine and CA65M2 natural gas engine) at the event. Among which the J6 6x6 and 8x4 dump trucks with Euro V emission standard were exhibited for the first time at the Russian market.

Russia plans to carry out Euro V emission standard in 2018. FAW Jiefang brand is in the first batch of Chinese brands to obtain the CU-TR Certification. FAW unveiled its Euro V Jiefang J6 dumper with redesigned compact cab at the event. The new model of Jiefang J6 dumper, with upgraded ground clearance and operating comfortableness, and enhanced quality of wire harness, air filter and connector, will better meet special road condition in Russian market. FAW also unveiled its CA6SM2 Euro V natural gas engine at the event.

FAW’s market share in Russia has reached 60 percent among Chinese brands. For the first eight months, FAW sales in Russia increased 25 percent year-on-year.
